Filothei Women Gala to be held for the 24th consecutive year, on May 17 2023

Two months are left until the 24th edition of Filothei Women Gala, which will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at the Filothei Municipal Stadium “S. Kyriakidis”. The gala has been held continuously since 2000 with great success and the participation of top female athletes from all over the world.

The Filothei Women Gala international women’s meeting is in the Silver category of the popular World Athletics Continental Tour series, following the excellent performances recorded at last year’s event.

The events remain the same as those of the 2022 event and are the following:
> 100m
> 100m hurdles
> long jump
> high jump
> pole vault

As every year top athletes, such as the pole vault Olympic champion and AO Filothei’s athlete Katerina Stefanidi, are expected to gather at the meeting to have spectacular competitions.

The gala is held under the auspices of the World Athletics(WA) and European athletics (EAA), as well as the Hellenic athletics association (SEGAS) and with the great support of the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko. AXUM is a major supporter.
